Lot 7: A Pair of Victorian Majolica Green Glazed Ceramic Boots
A pair of decorative ceramic novelties, identified by market consensus as Victorian or late 19th-century Majolica-style earthenware. Each item is molded in the form of a lace-up ankle boot, finished in a glossy, variegated emerald green glaze. The boots feature molded details simulating eyelets and stitching. The soles are unglazed, buff-colored, and show evidence of handling and wear. A faint incised or handwritten mark resembling the digit ‘5’ is visible on the base of one boot.
