A late 20th-century porcelain posy trough of serpentine form, manufactured by Studio Ceramics in Braunton, North Devon. The vessel features transfer-printed decoration of pink carnations or dianthus clusters accented by scrolling gilt ribbons. The undulating upper rim is finished with a hand-applied gilt line. The underside bears a black printed factory mark for Studio Ceramics, Braunton, North Devon, Made in England. A one pound coin is included in the images for scale.
