Lot 1242: A Silver-Tone Medallion Pendant with Arabic Script on a Decorative Greek Key Link Chain

A large circular medallion pendant suspended from a decorative link chain. The pendant features a central raised relief of the Arabic script for Allah set against a textured, gilt-effect circular ground. This central motif is encircled by a border of small, pavé-set clear stones. The pendant is suspended from a wide, tapering bail, also set with three rows of small clear stones. The decorative link chain is composed of repeating segments, including cylindrical links with an open-work Greek key pattern, interspersed with short bar and circular links. The item is composed of a silver-toned metal with no visible hallmarks, maker’s marks, or fineness stamps. The stones are round-cut clear stimulants. The chain is secured with a lobster claw clasp.
