Lot 252: Two Decorative Ceramic Items comprising a Royal Winton Dish and a Floral Candlestick

This lot features two pieces of decorative ceramic. The first is a small oval pin dish produced by Royal Winton, England, characterised by a scalloped edge and a gilt rim. The dish is decorated with an all-over transfer-printed floral pattern featuring pink and red roses with small blue flowers on a white ground. The base is marked with a black printed Royal Winton factory mark, a hand-painted pattern number 870, and a letter A. The second item is a porcelain candlestick with a pedestal stem and a bell-shaped base. It is decorated with transfer-printed floral sprigs of pink roses and green foliage, set against a white and hand-painted pink ground with brown scroll accents. The underside of the candlestick is unmarked.
