Lot 281: Two Cristal d'Arques Lead Crystal Items

A tapering lead crystal vase and matching flower frog attributed to Cristal d’Arques, France. The vase features a hexagonal rim, while the body is decorated with a geometric pattern of deep mitre cuts, creating interlocking diamond and triangular facets. The separate circular perforated glass flower frog is designed to sit within the rim to support floral stems. The material exhibits high clarity and light refraction characteristic of 24% lead crystal. A British one pound coin is included in the images for scale.
