The first item is a small knife featuring a silver-toned metal blade and a handle constructed with reddish-brown wood scales, secured by two pins. The handle includes a metal bolster and a cream-coloured end-cap. The second item is a two-pronged fork carved from a cream-coloured material, such as bone or an early synthetic. It features a decorative turned handle with a series of rings and terminates in a spherical finial. No maker’s marks, pattern names, or hallmarks are visible on either piece.
