This lot comprises two decorative earthenware ceramic vessels of differing styles. The larger item is a globular vase with a wide, flat-topped flared rim and a matte, textured surface. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted and incised polychrome motifs, including a stylised sunburst and geometric triangular patterns in shades of blue, orange, pink, and green against a pale ground. The second item is a small, squat, bulbous pot featuring two loop handles at the shoulder. It is finished with a two-tone glaze, consisting of a dark green glaze to the rim and handles over a yellowish-ochre glazed body. The small pot is currently filled with an assortment of dried pulses and beans. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are visible on the exterior of either piece.
Larger vase height: approximately 120mm.
