Lot 901: A Set of Six British Pressed Glass Liqueur Glasses, RDNO 613233

A set of six small, footed liqueur or spirit glasses manufactured from clear pressed glass. The design features a geometric pattern of vertical ribs intersected by two horizontal bands, creating a textured block or grid effect. Each glass comprises a slightly tapered cylindrical body, a short waisted stem, and a circular spreading foot. The bases of the glasses bear embossed characters around the rim of the foot, including the British Registered Design number RDNO 613233 and the words MADE IN ENGLAND. This design number was registered in 1913 and is associated with the Sherdley glass range produced by United Glass Bottle Manufacturers Ltd (UGB).
