Lot 961: A St Michael White Glazed Ceramic Planter

A white glazed ceramic planter of flared form, manufactured in England for Marks and Spencer under the St Michael brand. The piece features a scalloped upper rim decorated with a single line of gilding and two integral stylised handles. It is supported by a circular footed base and includes a central drainage hole. The underside is marked with the St Michael brand name within a rectangular cartouche, the pattern name PLAIN, MADE IN ENGLAND, model numbers 2185/8270, and the size indicator SMALL.
