A vintage English cast brass novelty desk thermometer, mid-20th century. The central thermometer column is flanked by two figures from the Three Wise Monkeys motif in Speak No Evil and Hear No Evil poses. The rectangular brass housing contains a glass thermometer tube secured by wire loops over a graduated scale.
