A collection of two 20th-century Greek artisanal ceramic items produced for the souvenir market. The first item is a rectangular earthenware relief plaque finished in a turquoise-green crackle glaze. The lower edge is inscribed in Greek characters ΠΡΙΓΚΙΨ ΚΝΩΣΟΥ, which translates as Prince of Knossos. The reverse features a printed paper label identifying the subject as No 28 : PRINCE OF KNOSSOS with historical text in English and French. The second item is a dark grey earthenware jar of ovoid form with a flared rim and a small central hole to the base. The exterior features a relief-molded frieze of figures and floral motifs in the style of the Minoan Harvester Vase, with a gadrooned shoulder and leaf-like motifs around the neck. The base bears an impressed circular mark reading GREECE HANDMADE and a small rectangular paper sticker with handwritten digits 265.
