Lot 279: A German Rapport mechanical twin-train regulator wall clock

A late 20th-century mechanical regulator-style wall clock by Rapport. The rectangular wooden case is constructed with a dark stained finish, featuring glazed panels to the front and sides to reveal the internal mechanism. The white dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers, a rail-track minute ring, and is signed Rapport to the centre with Made in Germany to the bottom edge. The dial includes two winding holes for the twin-train time and strike movement and is enclosed by a polished brass bezel. It is fitted with decorative pierced black hands and a long pendulum with a circular brass-faced bob.
