A vintage Singer Model 201K electric sewing machine, manufactured by The Singer Manufacturing Co. at the Kilbowie plant in Clydebank, Scotland. This heavy-duty domestic machine features a cast iron body finished in traditional black enamel with gold-tone “SINGER” branding and decorative filigree decals. The machine is identified by serial number EJ894922, dating its production to approximately 1954. It is mounted upon a light-coloured wooden base featuring a side storage compartment. This comprehensive lot includes a brown textured “crocodile” style carrying case, a black plastic foot controller with associated wiring, and a green Singer-branded accessory box containing a variety of metal presser feet and attachments. Accompanying the machine are two original booklets: a “Golden Panoramic Automatic Buttonholer” manual and a general “Manual of Family Sewing Machines”. The wooden base retains a vintage yellow “Dean Markley” sticker on the storage lid.
