Lot 290: Modern UK Lancashire Constabulary, Two Ladies Police Hats and High Vis Vest, Circa 2004
A collection of modern United Kingdom police uniform items belonging to the Lancashire Constabulary, dating to the late 20th or early 21st century. This lot comprises two ladies police hats and high vis equipment, featuring a female officer black felt bowler-style reinforced duty hat and a peaked cap. Both items of headwear display the distinctive black and white checkered Sillitoe tartan band and silver-toned metal Lancashire Constabulary cap badges. The peaked cap is interior-labelled with a size of 58 (7 1/4) and a manufacture date of 05/2004, featuring a green-lined plastic peak. The bowler hat, also size 7 1/4, contains a maker mark for Hobson and Sons (London) Ltd. and incorporates a protective inner shell. Completing the collection is a fluorescent yellow high-visibility police vest with reflective silver panels and blue POLICE block lettering. These items represent standard-issue equipment for the Lancashire force during the early 2000s. Size: 58 (7 1/4).
