Lot 207: T. Lingard - Jubilant Blues - Limited Edition Colour Print

A limited edition colour print after an original watercolour by the artist T. Lingard, titled Jubilant Blues. The composition depicts a dense crowd of figures in various states of movement outside a football stadium, identified as Maine Road, the former home of Manchester City Football Club. The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist to the lower right margin and bears a secondary signature within the plate to the lower left. This specimen is a limited edition, numbered 307/500 in pencil to the lower left margin. The print is presented unframed on a heavy paper sheet with wide margins. No publisher marks or gallery stamps are present on the front or reverse.
