Lot 201: An HO Scale Southern Pacific SD40T-2 Diesel Locomotive and Three Boxed IHC Milwaukee Road Hopper Cars

This lot comprises a collection of HO scale model railway equipment. The diesel locomotive is finished in Southern Pacific ‘Bloody Nose’ livery, featuring a grey body with red ends. It is marked with road number 8352 and the Southern Pacific name. Based on visual characteristics and the road number, it is attributed to Athearn and represents an EMD SD40T-2 ‘Tunnel Motor’ model. The locomotive is constructed with a plastic body shell on a mixed metal and plastic chassis. Included are three boxed two-bay hopper cars manufactured by International Hobby Corp. (IHC). These cars are finished in ‘The Milwaukee Road’ (MILW) oxide brown livery with white lettering and carry road numbers 76399, 76373, and 76379. Each freight car is housed in its original manufacturer’s window box, printed with the slogan ‘The World’s Finest Running HO Freight Cars’.
