Lot 288: Star Wars Number 1 Prelude to Rebellion Dark Horse Comics Another Universe Exclusive Chrome Edition Signed by Anthony Winn Limited Edition 607 of 4000
A signed copy of Star Wars Number 1: Prelude to Rebellion (1 of 6), published by Dark Horse Comics in 1999. This specimen is the Another Universe Exclusive Chrome Edition, featuring a reflective chromium finish to the front cover. The cover is signed by the artist Anthony Winn in gold-tone ink and is hand-numbered 607/4000 in black ink to the upper right quadrant. The comic is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Dynamic Forces, Inc., which verifies the item as one of a limited series of four thousand copies signed by Anthony Winn. The certificate bears the matching number 0607, includes an authorised signature from Nicola Barrucci, and features a circular holographic security seal. This issue is the first in a six-part limited series focusing on the Jedi character Ki-Adi-Mundi. The comic is presented in a clear protective polybag with a white backing board.
