Lot 456: A Pair of Vintage Home Country Kitchen Ceramic Oil and Vinegar Cruets

A pair of contemporary cream-glazed ceramic oil and vinegar cruets, designed in a nostalgic country kitchen style. Each vessel is of a rectangular form with rounded shoulders, tapering to a narrow neck featuring a small pouring lip and a single loop handle. The jugs are decorated with black transfer-printed designs on the front, featuring the words VINTAGE HOME in an arch above a graphic of a manor house and trees. Centrally placed on each is the word OIL or VINEGAR, with a decorative scroll at the base containing the text Country Kitchen. Both items are fitted with natural cork stoppers. The base of each item is unmarked.
