Lot 502: A Collection of Decorative Glass Items including Mid-Century Modern Styles
An assortment of decorative glass items featuring mid-century modern and traditional styles. The collection includes a tall amber blown glass vase with a flared rim and bulbous body supported by a clear glass stem and circular foot. Also included is a vibrant green cased glass vase of segmented cylindrical bamboo form with a white opal glass interior lining. A turquoise glass vase is present, showing a flared rim above a waisted neck and globular body. The collection further contains a deep purple glass apothecary-style jar, of a type associated with Empoli, featuring a matching domed lid with clear glass finial and raised on a clear glass stem; an auction house label is attached to the base. Completing the lot is a clear cut glass hand bell with geometric star motifs and a polished silver-toned metal handle.
