Lot 516: A Mid-Century Val Saint Lambert Pink and Clear Twisted Crystal Glass Table Lamp

A vintage hand-blown crystal glass table lamp attributed to Val Saint Lambert, Belgium. The lamp features a tall, slender base with a spirally-twisted tri-form design. It is executed in a Sommerso style, with a vibrant cranberry-pink glass core encased in a thick layer of clear lead crystal. The piece is fitted with a gold-toned metal collar and a white plastic B22 bayonet cap lamp holder with an integrated push-bar switch. The lamp has been tested for power and is fitted with a white two-core electrical cord. A modern adhesive inventory label marked 1866 is adhered to the polished underside of the base.
