Lot 543: A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery and a Musical Jewellery Box
This lot comprises an assortment of mid-20th-century costume jewellery presented within a white-finished musical jewellery box and an additional separate presentation case. The primary box features a red velvet-lined interior with a central rotating ballerina figure. The collection includes several necklaces of varying styles, featuring imitation pearls, faceted glass beads, and molded plastic or resin beads in turquoise, black, and amber tones. Multiple yellow and white-tone base metal chains are present, alongside a group of brooches including filigree work and pieces set with large faceted paste stones. One circular pendant features a classical figurative scene. The assortment also contains various clip-on and stud earrings and several rings set with rhinestones and imitation gemstones. A separate dark blue hinged jewellery box contains a multi-strand clear rhinestone necklace. Some items are stored in small plastic grip-seal bags. A small card with the text ESTATE and CITY is included within the main box.
