Lot 558: An Assortment of Vintage Jewellery and Presentation Cases

An assortment of vintage jewellery presentation boxes and storage cases of various forms and dimensions. The collection is centred around a large rectangular black case with a red velvet-lined interior and metal hinges. Included are several smaller boxes in various finishes, such as leatherette, velvet, and card. Notable marked examples include a navy blue presentation box for the British jeweller H. Samuel and a gold-toned card box for Sayers of Lumley Road, Skegness. The collection also features boxes in deep burgundy, purple, and black tones. One small red box bears handwritten cursive script to the lid.
