This collection of glazed stoneware was manufactured by Hornsea Pottery in England. The pieces feature the Heirloom pattern, which was designed for the factory by John Clappison. The decoration consists of a repeating, stylised geometric motif in dark brown over an autumnal tan ground, applied as a textured print under a glossy glaze. The collection comprises three cylindrical storage canisters and two small creamers or milk jugs with integral handles. Each piece bears a printed factory mark on the base consisting of a square spiral logo, HORNSEA, ENGLAND 1975, and HEIRLOOM.
