Lot 214: Four Mattel Masters of the Universe Action Figures
A group of four action figures from the Masters of the Universe (MOTU) series produced by Mattel during the 1980s. The figures are constructed from moulded plastic. The selection includes He-Man, featuring a tan-skinned torso, blonde hair, and red loincloth with a spring-loaded twist-waist mechanism, marked Mattel Inc. 1981 Taiwan to the reverse. Also included is Mekaneck, a blue-bodied figure with a silver helmet and red goggles, featuring a mechanical extending neck mechanism, marked Mattel Inc. 1983 Hong Kong. The group further comprises Snout Spout, an orange-skinned figure with a silver elephant-style head and integrated water-squirting backpack, and Orko, a stylised figure in a red cloak and hat with blue hands, featuring internal wheels to the base for a friction motor mechanism.
