Lot 66: Hitachi TRK-7200E Portable Stereo Radio Cassette Recorder with Original Box. Tested for Power
A vintage Hitachi TRK-7200E four-band stereo radio cassette recorder, manufactured in Singapore. The unit features a silver-finished plastic front panel with a dark grey plastic rear housing. It is equipped with twin integrated speakers protected by grey metal grilles. The top control panel includes a horizontal analogue slide-rule tuning dial for FM, SW, MW, and LW bands, along with independent knobs for volume, tone, and balance. The centrally located cassette deck features mechanical controls and a tape counter. The unit includes a folding carry handle and a telescopic aerial. The rear panel is fitted with a 5-pin DIN record/play socket, microphone jacks, and external speaker outputs. Solid-state transistor construction. Powered by 240V mains supply with an attached UK 3-pin plug or batteries. The original cardboard shipping box is included.
