Lot 517: A Vintage Palitoy Action Man Transport Command Scorpion Tank

A vintage large-scale model of a Scorpion tank, produced by Palitoy for the Action Man Transport Command series. The vehicle is constructed from moulded olive green plastic with black plastic road wheels and grey flexible plastic tracks mounted on metal axles. The design is based on the Alvis CVRT (Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance Tracked) series and features an incised triangular Alvis logo on the rear hull plate. The turret is manually rotatable through 360 degrees and the main gun barrel is mounted on a pivot for elevation. The turret features two decals depicting a red five-pointed star on a circular white background.
