Lot 251: A Collection of Decorative Cat Themed Porcelain Plates

A collection of decorative porcelain plates featuring feline subjects. The group includes circular and oval plates, decorated with transfer-printed illustrations depicting various breeds of cats and kittens in domestic and garden settings. Several plates bear the signatures of artists Jane Spencer and Lily Cheng within the printed artwork. The subjects include tuxedo cats, Siamese cats, and long-haired kittens amongst flora such as lilies, tulips, and bird of paradise flowers. Most plates are finished with a gilded rim.
