Lot 241: A Fully Fitted Wicker Picnic Hamper for Four

A fully fitted traditional wicker picnic hamper for four people, constructed from woven willow with a dark-stained finish. The exterior features a decorative rope-twist band around the centre and a hinged lid secured by two brown leather straps with brass-tone metal turn-lock fasteners. A matching leather carry handle is fixed to the top. The interior is lined with a blue, white, and red plaid fabric and contains a suite of accessories. These include a collection of stainless steel cutlery with blue plastic handles, white ceramic mugs housed in a dedicated four-compartment wicker divider, and a stack of white ceramic plates secured with leather strapping. Also included are a corkscrew multi-tool and a pair of salt and pepper shakers, the latter remaining in original plastic wrapping. No maker’s marks or labels are visible.
