Lot 260: A 20th-Century West German Brass Miniature Skeleton Carriage Clock

A 20th-century miniature skeleton carriage clock of West German origin. The timepiece features a polished brass frame with clear panels to all sides and the top, allowing for an unobstructed view of the internal mechanism. It is fitted with a white skeletonised annular dial displaying black Roman numeral hour markers and black spade and whip-style hands. The mechanical time-only movement is stamped on the rear plate with the marks 86, W.GERMANY, NO(0)JEWELS, and 987. The case is surmounted by a decorative scrolled carrying handle and sits on a stepped brass base.
