This set of six wine glasses is produced by Capri Crystal in Tuscany, Italy. Each glass is crafted from 24% lead crystal and features a bowl decorated with a deep-cut geometric pattern. The decoration consists of elongated vertical fluting above a series of intersecting vertical wedge cuts that create a starburst or diamond motif at the base of the bowl. The glasses are supported by faceted, hexagonal-cut stems with a central knop, resting on plain, circular feet. Each glass bears an original round gold foil label on the rim printed with the manufacturer’s mark: CAPRI CRYSTAL, CRISTALLO AL PIOMBO 24%, ITALIA. The set is presented in its original gold-toned manufacturer’s box, labelled The Italian Giftware Collection, which features a graphic of a Tuscan village and is lined with a draped gold satin-effect fabric.
