Lot 472: Lledo Days Gone Promotional Die-cast Advertising Vehicles, Late 20th Century.

A collection of four Lledo Days Gone series die-cast promotional advertising vehicles, manufactured in England. This group features die-cast metal bodies with plastic detailing, roofs, and wheels, typical of the vintage-style replicas produced in the 1980s and 1990s. The collection includes a white and red delivery van with “Dr. Barnardo’s” livery and slogan; two identical AEC ‘B’ Type double-decker buses in red and cream featuring “Vimto Keeps You Fit!” and “General” advertisements; and a 1920s-style delivery van in purple and black with gold-tone radiator detailing, featuring “Cadbury’s Chocolate Bournville” branding. Each vehicle is accompanied by an individual plain white cardboard box, often associated with promotional mail-away offers or trade sets.
