A pair of Edwardian era mahogany side chairs showing an Arts and Crafts influence through their clean lines and geometric detailing. Each chair features a high back with an arched top rail above three vertical splats. The central wider splat is decorated with two recessed circular bullseye motifs, a detail mirrored on the top rail. The chairs are raised on square-section tapered front legs terminating in spade feet, with raked rear legs and H-pattern stretchers for stability. The chairs feature drop-in removable seats, currently upholstered in a crimson red fabric decorated with a small-scale repeating gold-toned geometric diamond pattern. The primary material is mahogany with traditional mortise and tenon construction visible at the seat rails.
